A clean, product-like site for a short-form video studio, where the videos bring all the color.

The brief
Playframe plans, films and edits TikToks, Reels and Shorts for growing brands on a monthly retainer. They’re eleven people in Los Angeles with 1,180 videos shipped last year. Their site was a dark, cinematic reel page that made them look like a commercial production house, which scared off the DTC founders they actually work with.
Jess wanted a site that feels like a modern product: bright, clear, and honest about what a month with them looks like. “Our clients aren’t buying a film. They’re buying twenty good videos a month and their Fridays back.”
What I did
Three legs, in the order we flew them.
Outcome
Still in flight. The work CMS and the player are live in staging, and the calendar section is in its second round of edits. Launch is planned for the start of December, before Q1 budgets are set.
Past results, not a promise.

“For the first time our site looks like the videos we make, not the ones we'd make for a car brand. Mika keeps cutting things, and every cut makes it better.”
