Winrate project cover: brand, site and ad system

The brief

Winrate runs paid social and search for e-commerce brands, and they make the ads themselves. Every agency site in that space says the same thing: rocket icons, “scale your brand”, a wall of client logos. Nadia and Theo wanted the opposite. They wanted a site that proves the work: the real ads, the real numbers, and the ads that failed too.

They had twelve weeks before their first big pitch season, a team of sixteen who would need to update the site without a designer, and a hard rule from Nadia: “If a number is on the site, it has to be one we can show a client in their own ad account.”

What I did

Three legs, in the order we flew them.

Weeks 1–3

A brand built on the scoreboard

We started with how Winrate talks to clients: every ad gets three scores (Hook, Hold, Click) and a verdict. The brand grew from that. One evergreen means "won", three soft tints stand for the ad platforms, and everything else is neutral. The logo is a three-quarter disc: three of four tests won, and the missing slice is the honest part.

Weeks 4–8

An ad wall that shows the losers too

The homepage centers on last month's ads, each in a real feed frame with its scores underneath. Switched-off ads are dithered down to two tones instead of hidden, so the winners stand out without a single banner. Prospects can filter by verdict and see exactly how ruthless the testing is.

Weeks 9–12

A Framer site the team can run

Thirteen pages on shared components: a case-study CMS, a pricing calculator, a playbook and a free-audit form. I wrote a one-page guide and recorded a ten-minute walkthrough. The first month of results went up without me.

Outcome

The site launched in May, a week before pitch season. The ad wall became the part prospects bring up on sales calls, often before the deck is open. The team now adds a month of results in about an hour, and the "Switched off" filter is the most clicked control on the site.

Past results, not a promise.

“Mika understood that our results were the brand. Prospects open the ad wall before they open our deck, and they trust the winners because they can see the losers.”
